Q1. In what ways does your media product use, develop or challenge forms and conventions of real media products?

Main protagonist/s and antagonist/s. For example heroes and villains. Often they can be corrupted and by the end of the film changed to opposite. We have the main girl Kylie and her best friend Daniel, who appear protagonists in the beginning. Kylie decides to kill Daniel, so she turns into an antagonist.
Psychos, detectives, assassins, victims, criminals, doctors, policemen, students, families. We have chosen students to be the main character, so the audience of teens to 30s, which are the most common for thriller movies can relate to them. We also made the girl a psycho to go with the conventions.
However we have a girl and a guy as best friends, which is uncommon for thrillers or other genres, so we make a big conventional disruption and develop the idea to be unique and attract audience.
